Lucian Evans, 40, Mary Elizabeth Durham, 35, and Brandon Hayley, 28, all white, were allegedly trying to tattoo the words, 'F**k you, n***er,' on Michael Hart's neck. However, they flubbed the tattoo and instead wrote, 'F**k you, Niger,' an insult to the West African nation. Hart, who is black, had reportedly violated the CWB gang's rules and was being punished. CWB stands for Crazy White Boys, a phrase used generically by some white supremacists and gangs to identify themselves. According to The Miami Herald, Hart told police that the incident happened after the Evans, Durham, Hayley and a fourth member, Brett Singleton, 45, showed up to his home in January. Singleton has yet to be charged in connection to the incident. Hart told authorities that the members were trying to cover his 'CWB' tattoo with a knife. At first he was being held down by Hayley and Evans until Hayley knocked him out with a foreign object, according to the Herald. A short time later, Hart woke up briefly to see Durham tattooing his neck. However, they flubbed the tattoo and instead wrote, 'F**k you, Niger,' an insult to the West African nation.
