Excitement is building ahead of the imminent arrival of Baby Sussex and keen Royal enthusiasts have already guaranteed themselves a front row seat at Windsor Castle.

John Loughrey, 64, is stationed near the gates of the royal residence waving the red, white and blue of both Great Britain and the US, as well as a full range of royal memorabilia.

The super-fan is primed with two banners, a blue one for a boy and a pink one for a girl, as he waits for news from Harry and Meghan.

Mr Loughrey, a former assistant chef, was the only member of the public to attend every day of Princess Diana's six-month inquest in 2008 and arrived a week early to the Royal in 2011.

The ardent royalist is wearing a Union Flag beanie hat with a number of badges showing his devotion to various recent members of the Royal Family in anticipation for their new arrival.

Royal baby mania is growing more and more every day with memorabilia and even a Windsor Baby beer now on sale to enthusiasts.
