Brits celebrated the Bank Holiday in style by hitting the town and partying until the early hours of the morning.

Party-goers were in high spirits as they laughed a joked with friends and took advantage of the long weekend.

Well-dressed men and women were seen letting their hair down on the streets of Blackpool, which is bursting with clubs and bars.

In one image a young woman can be seen dancing up the street, enjoying the extended break, while in another snap a group of friends sings and dances in the street.

But as has become sadly traditional, some revellers took it a bit too far with one man hunched being sick, as his worried friends look after him.

In another snap a man's face is covered in blood, while in another people queue up at a kebab shop to get a late night snack.
