Two Mexican oil executives and their families were among 13 people killed when their business jet crashed as they flew home from watching a boxing match in Las Vegas. 

An air search located the downed plane in a remote mountainous area in the municipality of Ocampo on Monday, the Coahuila state government said in a statement. 

Typhoon Offshore, a Mexican oil firm, said two of their executives - Luis Octavio Reyes Dominguez, 54, and Ramon Amauri Vela, 57 - had been killed along with their families in the crash, Forbes Mexico reported.

Three crew members and 10 passengers were on board at the time of the crash. 'There were no survivors seen,' officials confirmed. 

Mexican media outlets identified pictures of Luis Octavio Reyes Dominguez's family posted on social media.

A flight manifest published by local press suggest his wife Loyda Liliana Luna Larrosa, 49, was also killed, along with their children Jade Paola Reyes Luna, 26, Guillermo Octavio Reyes Luna, 23, and Frida Alejandrina Reyes Luna, 19.

Also reportedly on the plane were Martha Isabel Garcia Lagunes, 43, Gary Amauri Vela Garcia, 19, Manuel Alejandro Sepulveda Gonzalez, 25, and Monica Leticia Salinas Trevino, 22.

According to the flight manifest, there were three crew - pilots Juan Jose Aguilar Talavera, 45, and Luis Ovidio Gonzalez Flores, 29, as well as Adriana Monserrat Mejia Sanchez, 29.  

The Bombardier Challenger 601 aircraft left Las Vegas Sunday afternoon and had been expected Sunday evening in Monterrey, but never arrived. 

The passengers were reportedly on the way home from watching boxer Canelo Alvarez fight Daniel Jacobs at the T Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

Alvarez said he was saddened to hear of the crash.

'I deeply lament the terrible accident of the plane coming from Vegas,' he wrote on Twitter on Monday. 

'I'm deeply grateful for the support of all the people who travel to see my fights. My prayers are with their families.'
