Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has drafted a Senate floor speech where he calls for moving on from the Mueller report and the 'partisan paralysis' he says it has created.
McConnell, who gave assurances throughout the probe that President Trump would not fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller, wants the country to move on to the 'real challenges before us' – as Democrats demand to receive the full un-redacted report and seek to call Mueller to testify about his multi-million dollar probe.
"This investigation went on for two years. It's finally over. Many Americans were waiting to see how their elected officials would respond,' McConnell said.
