A teenager who allegedly impersonated a police officer during a month long crime spree has been arrested after his car was rammed off the road by police.

The 17-year-old was spotted in Worongary, east of Surfers Paradise, early Thursday morning after a resident saw him asleep in his car at the end of a street.

The boy was rammed by an undercover police car vehicle after he woke up and tried to escape in an allegedly stolen car.
