Brandi Alden, 38, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was at her apartment when she was shot Thursday at about 10.25pm. She was taken to the hospital where she named her alleged shooter — Dylan Wade Schwenk, 27 — to a patrol officer before she died, according to The Oklahoman. Police then got a warrant to arrest Schwenk, also of Oklahoma City, based on complaints of first-degree murder, robbery with a firearm and felon in possession of a firearm. He was then arrested Friday afternoon following a foot chase with police. Two witnesses to the shooting were said to have named Schwenk in the shooting, as well. The witnesses claimed that he had run into Alden's apartment, demanded that they give 'it' to him, before firing his gun. One of his bullets hit Alden, who was heard yelling, 'No Dylan. Stop Dylan,' according to police. Brandi Alden, 38, died after she was allegedly shot in the chest and arm while she was inside her Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, apartment after Schwenk entered it on Thursday night Witnesses said they saw Schwenk (pictured) run into Alden's apartment, demand she give 'it' to them and then fire his gun at her. Schwenk was sentenced to five years in prison for drug distribution charges in 2013 Police had previously said that the victim, Alden, was alone in her apartment when she answered her door after hearing a knock, at which point two men entered and shot her in the chest and arm, News On 6 reported. The men were said to have driven away in a white SUV after the shooting. It's unclear what Alden and Schwenk's relationship was, although it was reported that they had been arrested together in the early morning of March 28, according to police. They were said to have been in Alden's car when she was stopped for having a faded paper tag. They were then taken into custody on active warrants, although it's unclear what the warrants had been issued for. Court records obtained by The Oklahoman indicated that Schwenk has a history of larceny and burglary charges, as well as additional felonies, and had been sentenced to five years in prison after being convicted of drug distribution in 2013. Schwenk is being held without bond according to an Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office records search.
