The taxi driver from Hull died on Saturday evening, her fiancee Rachel Nason told Hull Live. Melissa became a multimillionaire after winning £4million on a Blue Scratchcard from the National Lottery in January 2018. She was rushed to hospital with 'crushing chest pains' and unable to breathe properly in the early hours of last Monday. Melissa Ede, 58, who won £4m on a scratchcard, is pictured at the time celebrating her win. Her fiancee has confirmed she died on Saturday Doctors carried out tests but despite what she claimed were 'classic signs' of a heart attack, she was told her lungs and heart were both fine. She was then forced to hit back at trolls who said they 'wished she was dead'. Ms Ede posted on social media: 'People saying it is a shame I'm not dead. Well, I've got a message to you people, there's nothing actually wrong with this ticker or my lungs, all been checked out so you've got me for quite a while yet so I'm sure that will make you all happy.'
