Australia is heading to the polls on Saturday, and people are already readying their barbecues for the big day.

The Democracy Sausage has quickly become a staple at schools and church halls around the country during elections, with 2019 federal election gearing up to be the biggest snag day yet.

Voters will be able to plan their day ahead of time by using a special website, allowing them to find their nearest democracy sausage.

The Democracy Sausage website maps booths with a sizzle, while also putting a worrying 'no sausage here' status on booths without the treat.

Crowdsourcing data from Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, the website is able to map out where sausages will be available from on Saturday.

There's also the option of checking which booths will have cake, coffee, bacon and egg rolls, vegetarian and even halal options available.

At this stage, there are 1049 polling booths with sausage sizzles around the country, leaving an estimated 2.1 million Aussies (20.7 per cent of voters) with access to their democracy snag.

The electorate of Moore in Western Australia takes the top spot in the country for amount of voters with access to a sausage sizzle, with 66.2 per cent with the option of picking up a snag on Saturday.

Bean in the ACT comes in second with 60 per cent of voters with access to the democracy sausage. 

However, on the other end of the scale, Hinkler in Queensland and Parkes in NSW come in at the worst in the country, with no voters having access to a
