Staffordshire Police said they discovered the bodies of the man and woman after being called to the house at around 10.30 this morning. Police are investigating after the bodies of a man in his 20s and a woman in her 40s were found in a house in Staffordshire today A spokesperson said: 'Detectives from Staffordshire Police are investigating the deaths of a man and woman in Hednesford, Cannock. 'Emergency services were called to an address on Hill Street at around 10:30am this morning where they discovered the bodies of a man in his 20s and a woman in her 40s. 'Detectives are currently working to establish the circumstances surrounding their deaths, which are still being treated as unexplained.' 'Post-mortems will take place in due course. 'Neighbourhood officers are increasing patrols in the area and engaging with the local community to provide reassurance. 'Forensic investigations are ongoing at the scene and officers are completing house-to-house enquiries. A neighbour told the Birmingham Mail the people who had died but that it was unusual to see police in the street.
