Officers arrested Mourad Kerollos on Barker Street, in Randwick, in Sydney's eastern suburbs, about 8.45pm. Kerollos, from Panania, was denied bail and will appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday. A 60-year-old man has been charged with murder after the woman he stabbed died in a domestic incident on Saturday. Police said they were called following reports of a domestic incident. The woman, who was 47, was found unresponsive on Easy St, close to the emergency department of Prince of Wales Hospital. Paramedics tried to revive her, but she died at the scene. Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command took the accused to Maroubra Police Station. Forensic experts searched a station wagon where the accused was arrested. Residents said they heard shouting outside their homes, but police asked them to stay inside.
