Iconic Australian beer brand Foster's has slammed the national cricket team by showing a man rubbing sandpaper on a ball in their latest ad.

The ad pokes fun at the incident that occurred in March 2018 when Australian player Cameron Bancroft was caught illegally scuffing the ball with a piece of sandpaper.

Australian cricketers received global abuse and were labelled cheats over the ball-tampering episode, which saw former Test captain Steve Smith and opening batsman David Warner banned from the game for a year, with Bancroft outed for nine months.
