Telstra is launching Australia's first 5G-enabled smartphone and modem next week.  

The company will be selling the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G and the HTC 5G Hub modem at its stores from May 28 - nearly seven years after Australia’s first 4G smartphone was released for customers in 2012. 

The launch will make Australia the third country after the US and South Korea where these fifth-generation devices are available to consumers.
