Shocking footage shows a thief pick up a box of beers and stroll out of a store, as the owner says he is being targeted by aggressive shoplifters.
CCTV has also captured shoplifting attempts where a customer stuffed items down their pants and into jacket pockets at the Family Choice store in Swansea, Wales.
Owner Christopher Gnana, who also claimed a shoplifter threw a bottle at him when he chased them out the store on Llangyfelach street, said he fears for his safety after being threatened and loses £80 a week to thefts.
South Wales Police said they are investigating threats made to staff at the store, and giving advice on how to prevent further thefts from the shop.
Drug dealing takes place openly on doorsteps in the area, local media claim, and there is constant screaming and shouting at night while prostitutes hang out on street corners.
