This is the man who brutally bashed a girl, 18, in the women's toilet of a nightclub after she asked for toilet paper from the next cubicle over.

Pictures show Gold Coast tradesman Alex Rowe, 23, with muscles bulging, an apparent Jesus Christ tattoo etched across his stomach and neatly cropped hair.

The Southport Magistrates Court heard how the 23-year-old tradesman was inside a cubicle with his girlfriend, allegedly comforting her, when the victim asked for a ply.

The court heard Rowe's girlfriend responded 'get f*****', prompting the victim to storm out and demand she 'say it to her face'.
