Women outdo men at money management because they can stick to a budget and spend less on impulse purchases, a survey suggests.
They are more financially responsible and more likely to know how much money is in their bank accounts.
And in findings that reverse the traditional stereotype, the survey suggests that men spend more on impulse, blowing an average of £65 each month compared with £54 for women, who actually view themselves as impulsive spenders.
Women are also more likely to set and stick to a budget.
