Breathtaking images illustrate the stunning rainbow-coloured waters of an Australian lagoon which glows pink, orange and blue.
Paula Zavalia, 29, from Buenos Aires in Argentina, took the images of the Instagram-worthy waters while visiting the Hutt Lagoon, in the mid-west region of Western Australia, earlier this month.
The stunning lagoon - which is separated from the Indian Ocean by a narrow stretch of sand - contains the world's largest microalgae production plant which creates its infamous pink hue.

'I wanted to go to that place for a long time - the water there has hues of amazing colours, mostly pink and orange,' Ms Zavalia said.
'That is because the algae with special properties that grows there.'
The seasoned visual artist captured the lagoon's complexion in a way which highlighted the contrasting colours and showed how they effortlessly merged together.
