Pointless host Richard Osman sells the rights for his detective novel for £1.1MILLION after writing it in secret in the biggest deal for a debut book in a decade Wrote the novel in almost complete secrecy and only told his closest friends  The book, which is published by Penguin, is called The Thursday Murder Club  It is about four pensioners who hold weekly meeting to crack cold cases
