A drunk man allegedly punched a female police officer in the face - breaking her nose and shattering her teeth - when she asked him to leave a popular Sydney bar.
The 32-year-old man was asked to leave the waterfront bar, on the Promenade at Darling Harbour, by security staff about 12.45am.
Plain-clothes police officers who were patrolling the venue identified themselves to the man
