Barnaby Joyce found out he has been dropped as a 'special envoy' by Prime Minister Scott Morrison when he read a TWEET from Sky News MP Barnaby Joyce learns he wont retain role as special drought envoy via Twitter Sky News tweet made claim and Joyce responded saying it was the first he heard Mr Joyce was first appointed to the special envoy role in August 2018

Former deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce found out he lost his role as Special Envoy for Drought Assistance and Recovery on Twitter.

Sky News shared a video titled 'Barnaby Joyce doesn't look like he has retained his role as special envoy to the drought' to social media on Sunday, ahead of Prime Minister Scott Morrison announcing his cabinet. 

'Just found out from you guys then,' Mr Joyce wrote in response to the tweet.
