Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel had put Democratic Congresswoman and Trump detractor Rashida Tlaib on blast after the Michigan representative made the case for Trump's impeachment on 'Meet the Press.'
She said Tlaib 'continues to obsess over impeachment' and claimed Democrats want to impeach Trump 'because they don’t have any other message heading into 2020 and they’re scared they can’t beat him at the ballot box.'

Trump retweeted his party's chairwoman and fired back at Tlaib in a tweet that said: 'The Dems are getting NOTHING done in Congress! They only want a Do-Over on Mueller!'
At a news conference on Monday afternoon local time in Tokyo, an American president asked Trump about his pledge to cut off contact with the Democrats until they drop their investigations into him.
His refusal to work with Democrats to pass legislation could make it hard to fulfill his campaign promises, the journalist noted.
'Certainly as things get approved, I would love to sign them. It's only good for our country,' he said. 'I'm only interested in what's good for our country. It's very important.'
