A Liberal Party frontbencher has been mocked by Labor after a Twitter fumble where he accidentally 'cut and pasted' a staffer's suggestion into his social media post.
Greg Hunt, the minister for health, took to Twitter at the weekend to congratulate Chris Bowen on his new role as Opposition health spokesman.
But Mr Hunt accidentally left two telling words at the beginning of his post, which read: 'What about ... Congratulations to Chris Bowen as Labor Health Spokesperson - however he's the man who forgot to allocate any funding for a hospital's agreement despite pledging to do so for 6 years - big promises - zero dollars when it counted.'
The rogue words were quickly deleted and replaced - but not before Mr Bowen saw it and posted a cutting response.
