Trespasser David Debney, 24, has been found guilty of brutally assaulting a dementia sufferer in her care home

An evil thug has been jailed for 12 years after he launched a brutal unprovoked attack on a dementia sufferer who later died by battering her over the head with a LAMP. 

Trespasser David Debney left 60-year-old Denise Crowton with horrific facial injuries during the sickening assault as she lay in her bed at a care home.

The 24-year-old entered The Ridings Nursing Home, in Castle Vale, Birmingham in the early hours of June 24, 2017.

He then launched the frenzied attack on the his helpless and immobile victim, who required 24 hour care, and hit her with the lamp in her ground floor room.
