Reverend Dr. William Weaver, 69, removed himself Linden Presbyterian Church in New Jersey in January over the allegations which he has neither confirmed nor denied A Presbyterian minister has been accused of taking advantage of troubled men who came to him for counsel by telling them that oral sex was a 'healing method' he used to get rid of evil spirits in them. Reverend Dr. William Weaver, 69, removed himself Linden Presbyterian Church in New Jersey in January this year, three days before he was due to face the accusations. Three adult men say he told them that they had to expunge demons and evil spirits lurking in their bodies through their semen. The men say he would have them undress, lie flat on their backs naked and balance stones and coins on their bodies, telling them not to move while he performed oral sex on them. Afterwards, the men say he told them not to tell anyone about what they had done because no one would understand. They shared their stories with My Central New Jersey on Tuesday. The church also found that he had downloaded gay porn to his computer, it is reported. Because the men were all of age when they say the alleged encounters happened and because they consented to them, there are no grounds for criminal action. By stepping down from Linden, where he had worked for 39 years, he left before he could be asked to. Weaver has since not spoken of the allegations, telling My Central New Jersey that he 'could not' comment when approached. DailyMail.com's attempts to reach him were not successful on Tuesday. A.J. Meeker, now 37, claims he was one of the men who Weaver did it to. He said he started seeing him when he was 20 in the early 2000s. He says was struggling to cope with his own relationships and with the fact that his parents had broken up when he was a teenager when he took comfort in Weaver's advice. He says he told him that there were people casting evil spells on him. Their sessions, he said, were held in the bathroom of the manse, where Weaver told him to undress then lie down. The men say the reverend targeted them after they went to him for advice or counsel. He had worked out of Linden Presbyterian Church in Linden, New Jersey, for 39 years before he left this year 'I was told that for him to get everything out me, I needed to lay completely still to not move the stones on my feet. 'He would then take out the feather and scan my body from my neck to my stomach,' he said in a victim impact statement to the church. He said Weaver than instructed him to open his mouth and then put his tongue inside, swirled it around and said he wanted to check there was nothing there. The older man then proceeded to perform oral sex on him, he said. When he was finished, Weaver would 'ingest' his semen and spit up 'pieces of metal and plastic into a Ziploc bag.' William Weist is the second accuser. He says he went to Weaver for counsel after watching his girlfriend's son drown in a boating accident. The men say he used to tell them he would protect them from evil. Weaver is no longer part of the church He was in his 30s at the time. Their sessions grew increasingly sexual every time, he said, until Weaver convinced him there was an evil spirit inside him. 'I felt uneasy, but I took his word that this was necessary. 'It wasn’t long after that where I now had to have my shoes off with gemstones placed on my ankles, and my shirt off as well. 'This time was different as the only way to get it fully out was for him to draw it out with his mouth. 'I was so afraid and scared. When it was over, he showed me what looked to be a tiny metal ball and said that was what he got out of me,' he wrote. Jared Staunton, 36, says he was first targeted in 2014. His job meant that the pair had to meet at night, during the week, in his home. One night, he said he began having a mental breakdown in front of the minister. He told him to take off his clothes, including his boxers. 'Mentally I was gone. I left my boxers on. He forcefully said, ‘"All of them." I took off my boxers. 'I felt like I couldn’t move even if I wanted to. I was laying on my bed, in my dark room, lit only by candles and I was powerless,' he said. 'It was like time disappeared and I disappeared along with it,' he said, adding that afterwards, Weaver kissed him on the lips. All three men eventually told the police and the church about what had happened. In 2018, an investigation was launched and found that he had committed 'multiple acts of idolatry and sexual misconduct' against three men. Weaver, who is married, left the church in January. He can now never work in any religious capacity. When contacted, he told My New Jersey: 'I’m not able to respond. Thank you.'
