Andrea Leadsom last night pledged to hold monthly phone-ins with the public if she becomes Prime Minister. 

Mrs Leadsom also poured scorn on fellow Brexiteer leadership contenders Boris Johnson and Dominic Raab.

She accused the pair of ‘making Brexit harder’ by resigning from the Cabinet in opposition to Theresa May’s deal.
