New mystery as Senate Intelligence Committee summons Israeli security ...

Senate Intelligence Committee investigators want to bring in for questioning a British security consultant with links to a Russian oligarch who is accused of following police who probed corruption charges of the Israeli Prime Minister.

The committee is seeking to interview Israeli security consultant Walter Soriano, whose name surfaced in the corruption probe of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – and who has London offices on the same street as ex-British intelligence officer Christopher Steele – who the committee has been pushing to meet for an interview for months.

Soriano has been accused in the Israeli Knesset and in the press of following police officers investigating Netanahu – a charge he denies.

But he also appears to have connections to key figures in the Russia probe, including Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska and jailed former Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort.

'They're surprised by how connected he seems to several people of interest,' a source told Politico, which reported the panel has sent a letter summoning Soriano.

An April 5 letter seeks all all communications between Soriano and Manafort, as well as fired National Security Advisor Mike Flynn, who is cooperating with federal prosecutors after his guilty plea to lying to the FBI.

Soriano's USG Limited has offices in Jerusalem, where he is listed as a director.

His other business listing, London Western Ranch Limited, has an address in Victoria, where Steele also has offices, according to business records.
