The 20-year-old was found lying on the ground close to death by a tobacco shop around 3am Friday morning. Police and emergency services tried to save his life but he passed away at the scene. He was found badly injured outside a tobacco shop (pictured) He was staying in a room with friends at the hotel near to where he was found - called the Wave House. Well-placed sources said Civil Guard officers woke up his pals to tell them the bad news because they were sleeping and knew nothing about the tragedy. The incident is now being investigated to see if the man jumped or fell by accident. A police source confirmed: 'The dead man is a British 20-year-old. 'An investigation is underway.'
