A former Hillary Clinton aide is openly considering running against Democratic Representative Jerry Nadler in the 2020 primary race because he is not moving fast enough toward impeaching President Donald Trump.
Peter Daou chastised the House Judiciary chairman, and other Democrat leadership in Congress, for focusing too much on congressional investigations instead of impeachment.
'The Democratic party leadership needs to change,' Daou told MSNBC's Ari Melber on Friday, and added he is considering entering a primary race for Nadler's seat in New York.
Nadler has represented New York's 10th district, which includes several neighborhoods in Manhattan and Brooklyn, since 1992.

'This is not a time for half-measures,' the former digital operations head for Clinton's 2008 run and online communications adviser to John Kerry's 2004 campaign said.
'We are facing a threat we've never faced before — certainly within our lifetimes — and that's an autocrat as a president, somebody who has no respect for the rule of law,' Daou said of Trump.
