How Jodie Comer and Katarina Johnson-Thompson honed skills at same school

One is the golden girl of British television, lapping up plaudits as the deadly Villanelle in hit BBC series Killing Eve, while the other is a gold medal-winning heptathlete lapping other sportswomen on the running track.

But despite their very different, albeit successful careers, actress Jodie Comer and Olympian Katarina Johnson-Thompson are best friends, who first met when they were children at the same all-girl's Catholic school in Liverpool.

And while Comer kicked off her stage craft at St Julie's in Liverpool, at the same Johnson-Thompson was honing her running skills.  

They remain in touch to this day and regularly post pictures together on social media, whether attending Ascot or sipping cocktails together, keeping in touch amid their very busy schedules with a cheekily-named WhatsApp group dubbed: 'H*s in Different Area Codes'.
