A grieving mother whose daughter died in a car crash has slammed Jeremy Clarkson over his comments about a fatal road accident.
Avril Child, whose 26-year-old daughter Sarah was killed in a car crash in 2012 criticised the former Top Gear presenter for his 'arrogant' and 'ignorant' remarks.
TV presenter Clarkson complained about a road being closed following a horrific three-car 'street race' crash which killed a man in his 70s and left his wife in hospital.
The 59-year-old took to social media to ask police why it was taking so long to re-open the road after the crash in Hammersmith, west London, at 1.40am on Friday.
He wrote on Twitter to his 7 million followers the day after the crash: 'Dear The Police, I know it was a nasty crash in Hammersmith last night but how can it take this long to re-open the road?'
