This is the heart-stopping moment a reckless driver smashes her £70,000 new BMW into a brick wall after hurtling round a blind bend after violently skidding. The female motorist was waiting behind a Waitrose delivery lorry when she suddenly accelerated around the stationary vehicle where she lost control and careered into the Egham, Surrey, store's car park exit. The impact crumpled the front of her once sleek BMW M4 2019 model and even demolished the wall. A horrified driver behind her, whose dashcam captured the crash, slammed the 'arrogant' motorist and said it was lucky that nobody was killed. A reckless driver plows her once flashy BMW into a brick wall, sending bricks flying and wrecking the car She demolishes the wall outside the Waitrose car park on Church Road, Egham, Surrey The 30-year-old gardener, who wishes to remain anonymous, told MailOnline: 'I couldn't believe what I was seeing. 'Somebody could have been killed. There was an old man with a walking stick on the other side of the road. 'Had he been on the other side I could only imagine what would of happened.' He added: 'I make the same journey at about 6.30 every morning and there is often a Waitrose van there. 'You go around it when it's safe to do so, but she kept a large distance away from it and didn't seem to want to overtake it. 'I thought, "I'm just going to go around her", and as I started to move she suddenly sped around.' She hurtles around a parked Waitrose delivery lorry before the rear wheels kick out to the right and send her screeching to the left and into the wall Bricks come tumbling down as the side of the car scrapes alongside before coming to a stop The Surrey man believes that the BMW driver's determination not to be overtaken by his 'humble Toyota', prompted her to zoom in front. He said: 'I think she was just showing off. I know this doesn't apply to all drivers but there is almost a sense of entitlement with people who have flashy cars.' Dashcam footage shows the shiny black BMW stopping braking behind the delivery lorry as it pulls up outside the supermarket. Seemingly unprepared to go around the stationary vehicle, the driver in the car behind reverses slightly so he can overtake both the BMW and the Waitrose lorry. But just as he gently swerves to the right, a plume of smoke streams out of the BMW's exhaust and the car bursts forward. Furious with the woman's carelessness, the gardener decides stops at the crash site to confront the drive He tells her that she's 'driving like a nutcase' before telling a passerby he was 'behind her, and then she just span out of control, driving like a crazy person As it speeds around the corner, its rear wheels kick out to the right and the car is sent hurtling to the left where it plows head-on into the wall. He tells her that she's 'driving like a nutcase' before telling a passerby he was 'behind her, and then she just span out of control, driving like a crazy person.' The gardener later decided to check the BMW's numberplate on a registration database which he claims revealed that it's only a few months old. And, after a conversation with the local BMW dealership, he discovered that the M4 model retails for around £70,000.
