California police were led on a bizarre chase around a mobile home park Wednesday after a man was suspected of stealing a vehicle.

But police helicopter footage showed the cops barely had to pursuit the suspected joyrider during the incident that took place between 9pm and 10pm as he moved at a slow 11mph to 35 mph.

The suspect was trapped in the complex on the dark night in El Monte near Brookside and Elliot Avenue.

Patrol cars blocked motorists from coming in and out of the park near Brookside Country Club but locals taking dogs on walks or emerging to film the action on their cells phones were a concern.
