George Horn, 25, had shaken his victim's hand when he was sat laughing at the bar with him. But he launched a horrific attack by punching the 56-year-old victim at least five times - sending him to the floor and leaving him with an eye injury. Shocking footage of the incident has been released by Thames Valley Police. The victim put his hands up to try and stop the blows but he then falls to the floor and again attempts to shield himself. A member of the public can be seen trying to restrain Horn. While outside the pub in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, he then attacked a 30-year-old man for no reason, which caused him serious facial injuries. Horn, of no fixed address, carried out the attacks at around 10pm in August last year. He was arrested and later charged with one count of grievous bodily harm with intent and one count of grievous bodily harm without intent. Detective Constable Fred Ruffle from Aylesbury Force CID said: 'George Horn carried out two ferocious and unprovoked attacks on these two victims, who both required medical treatment. Following these serious assaults, Horn also attempted to evade police. 'Horn is clearly a violent offender and until he was arrested and charged he did not want to be held responsible for his actions. 'However, he was successfully arrested, charged and taken through the courts. The hard work of officers involved in this case meant that Horn entered a guilty plea at the first opportunity. 'I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the victims involved in this case for their support, which was not easy given the nature of the attacks.'
