A Vermont motorist named Kevin Bacon side-swiped a parked police car on a freeway while he was searching on his smartphone for a classic episode of Saved by the Bell.

The incident happened on Interstate 91 in Thetford Thursday afternoon, when 55-year-old Bacon struck the parked cruiser with his 2016 Chevrolet Spark.

After the accident, police requested to check the driver’s phone and ultimately determined he’d been using it in the moments prior to the prang.

Bacon’s internet history revealed that he’d been searching for a specific episode of the hit-90s sitcom, Saved by the Bell - starring the likes of Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Tiffani Thiessen - at the time.
