A 50-year-old mother who was killed in a horse riding accident has been remembered as a fearless and generous woman with a wicked sense of humour.
Joanne Bruce, known as JoJo, died after falling from a horse in Cooroibah, near Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, around 2.20pm on Friday.
Friends who were with her on the day she died have been left traumatised after the accident.
Passers-by and paramedics tried to revive Ms Bruce but she could not be saved and died at the scene.
