Australians will soon be offered smashed avocado, kombucha and cocktails in leatherbound menus when they go to the movies.

Event Hospitality and Entertainment Limited launched two quirky boutique theatres at their flagship Sydney George Street cinema on Friday.  

The theatres, dubbed Australia's first 'Instagrammable' cinema, aim to cater to a new era of moviegoers driven by a desire to document everything on social media. 

Customers will have the option to choose between 'The Library' or 'Paparazzi' - two intimate rooms that were once enormous 200-seat theatres.
