The mother of 14-year-old who was kicked and punched by four schoolgirls has blamed the attack on parents not being allowed to discipline their children properly.
Laura Wigg, whose daughter Keisha was filmed being assaulted in Belhus Park, in Aveley, Essex, believes mothers and fathers have had 'powers taken away from them.'
Ms Wigg, 31, has come forward to share her daughter's story in an attempt to change the way children are prosecuted over assaults.
She says it 'is not good enough' that the perpetrators will most likely be given a warning by police.
The footage of Keisha being attacked was shared on Facebook earlier this month, and shows her being slapped in the face, punched in the head and body, having her hair pulled and being kicked in the body after she is dragged to the ground.

The schoolgirl can be heard pleading with them to stop their assault, saying 'Ok, Ok!' as they continue to attack her as other children watch on.
Ms Wigg said today: 'One minute I'm upset, the next minute I'm angry, the next I want to go smash something.
'I think they [police] will just give them a warning, which is not good enough.
'If it was an adult involved we would be held accountable, it's disgusting.'
Adult support worker Laura went on to describe how she feels parents are unable to properly discipline their children and described what she would have done if the tables were turned.
