A pizza delivery driver in his 40s had his motorbike and phone snatched by a seven-strong gang in broad daylight on an east London street.
Shocking footage shows the group set upon the man during Sunday afternoon on Napier Street, East Ham, as women scream in the background.
The Met police said the driver suffered minor injuries. They are yet to make any arrests.
The capital is currently in the grip of a murder epidemic as the number of people killed on the city's streets this year rose to 60 last week.
Horrifying footage shows the gang surround the driver and grab his bike.
One of the youths then gets on the vehicle and tries to drive it away before dropping it and running away.
Screaming and shouting can be heard in the video, which was uploaded to social media.
The Met police said the driver 'had his bike and phone stolen' in the attack.
Officers are still making enquiries after failing to make any arrests in connection with the attack and robbery.
A gang of around 100 youths had clashed with police near Stratford's Westfield shopping centre earlier that day.
It comes as a man in his 30s was stabbed to death in broad daylight on Sunday in Tower Hamlets.
Police are asking for witnesses after the boy was stabbed on this road in Luton, pictured on Monday
