'I could never be friends with him': Teenage tennis sensation unleashes on Nick ...

Kick Kyrgios has been slammed by a rising Canadian tennis star who said he 'could never be friends with him'.

Felix Auger-Aliassime, 18, defeated Kyrgios at the Queen's tournament in London on Thursday, before going on a scathing rant about the Australian tennis bad boy.

Meanwhile Kyrgios, 24, was slapped with a $25,000 fine after a series of heated exchanges with the umpires in his first and second round matches.

Following Kyrgios' usual display of unsportsmanlike behaviour throughout their match, Auger-Aliassime kept his cool to win in straight sets 6-7 7-6 7-5.

'I think he's a good tennis player, but I could never be friends or close to a person like that,' he said in an interview with Tennis Life Media.

'Beyond that, if I wasn't a tennis player - for example, if we knew each other at school or whatever - he's not someone I would be friends with or hang out with. So you have to look at two things. There's the tennis player, and there's the person. I don't really feel like associating with a person like that.'

Although Auger-Aliassime made it clear he wasn't a fan of Kyrgios' attitude, he did admit that he admires the hot headed Aussie's tennis prowess.

'All I have to say, really, about a person like that is that I admire what he does on the court. He's a very good player. His tennis qualities are incredible.'
