A jockey was nearly thrown from his horse during a race in Adelaide on Saturday, with heart-stopping video showing him desperately clinging to the saddle.   

Jarrod Lynch, 26, was racing on his horse Euroman in the Grand National Hurdle at Morphetville racecourse at 1pm on Saturday.  

The 62-kilogram jockey was left clinging for his life after his horse clipped a hurdle at the 700m mark of the 3,500m race.
