Democratic presidential candidate Julian Castro is picturing the day he will bid farewell to President Trump and the first lady in a traditional send-off – concluding with salutations in Spanish.
Castro, the former housing secretary under President Barack Obama, described the moment in some detail at the end of his speech to South Carolina delegates in Columbia.
'My favorite moment of that day actually come a little bit earlier, the moment when it's traditional on the White House lawn for the incoming president to usher out the outgoing president,' Castro said, after saying his first official action would be to rejoin the Paris climate accord.
