A 39-year-old man has been convicted of having a threesome with a teenage girl, leaving her with appalling injuries, including a three centimetre tear.
Rickie James McCutcheon and another defendant, who is a teenager, was drinking with the 15-year-old girl at a Dunedin flat on New Zealand's South Island on December 4, 2017.
The teenager organised for a 15-year-old girl to be picked up and brought to the apartment, despite the two having a 'turbulent' relationship at the time.

According to the NZ Herald, the group drank throughout the evening before McCutcheon, his co-accused and the girl left together at 10pm.
Dunedin District Court heard that the victim was 'relatively sober' when she left the party.
On arriving at the younger defendant's home, all three went to the teenager's bedroom.
