Joe Biden's, 'My time's up,' comment in the Democratic presidential debate has been used by his critics to make a point about the Vice President's time in national politics.
The 76-year-old was referring to the amount of time left on the debate clock but it seems some commentators interpreted the remark in a different way.
Biden uttered the phrase after he was given a 30-second warning.
The moment Biden became his own moderator, 'Anyway, my time's up,' he said. 'I'm sorry'
He talked about his track record on civil rights and voting rights before he declared time up following a tense exchange with California Sen. Kamala Harris.
'Anyway, my time's up,' he said. 'I'm sorry.'
Twitter critics soon went to town on the comment with some speculating the words would define his campaign, while others criticized Biden for not making the most of every second.
