Joe Biden's, 'My time's up,' comment in the Democratic presidential debate has been used by his critics to make a point about the Vice President's time in national politics.

The 76-year-old was referring to the amount of time left on the debate clock but it seems some commentators interpreted the remark in a different way.

Biden uttered the phrase after he was given a 30-second warning.

He talked about his track record on civil rights and voting rights before he declared time up following a tense exchange with California Sen. Kamala Harris.
