Elizabeth Holmes was unrecognizable in court last week as she presented a softer and warmer Beauty look ahead of her criminal trial next year.
The disgraced Theranos founder accomplished this Beauty transformation by dialing things down with her makeup while going big with her hair.
Holmes' infamous tresses, which have been bleached, straightened and worn in a ponytail ever since she first came to public attention back in the aughts, got bigger and better with the help of a blow-out and some barrel curls.
It was a make-under however in the Beauty department, with Holmes packing away the kohl eyeliner she used to liberally apply along with her very red lipstick and the too-light foundation that would round out the look
Holmes, 35, instead stuck to a more neutral palette that matched her natural skin tone and worked with her features to give her a warmer and softer look in court.
U.S. District Court Judge Edward Davila ruled Friday that the trial against Holmes and the company's former Chief Operating Officer Ramesh Balwani will start July 28, 2020.
Prosecutors allege that Holmes and Balwani deliberately misled investors, policymakers and the public about the accuracy of Theranos' blood-testing technologies.
The two pleaded not guilty to wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud. If convicted, they could each face maximum penalties of 20 years in prison and a $2.75 million fine, plus possible restitution.

New look: Elizabeth Holmes appeared in court on Friday where U.S. District Court Judge Edward Davila ruled her case will begin in July of next year
White fang: Holmes with Evans, the heir to a hotel fortune who worked for the driverless car start-up Luminar Technologies (Holmes and Evans with Balto)
Holmes' appearance came just weeks after she is believed to have married Billy Evans, 27, in a private ceremony.
Reports have revealed very little about the event and the guests.
There have been claims that Evans' family did not approve of the union, but that did not seem to impact their relationship with their son, whom they traveled with to Iceland and Ecuador, among other destinations, over the past year.
Evans and Holmes' union is a surprise to some, though the two did not make a concerted effort to hide their relationship, with Evans often posting photos of the two.
In one of those photos, Holmes smiles while wearing a shirt with the name of Evans' company written across the front.
The two are joined in that photo by Balto.
That is the infamous husky that Holmes adopted as Theranos found itself in increasingly dire straits, informing workers that the husky was a 'wolf.'
Evans refers to the dog as Baltisimo.
In all the photos of the pair, Holmes is also seen wearing Evans' MIT signet ring around her neck.
That may also be her engagement ring, as she is not seen wearing any jewelry on her ring finger in other photos.
This would certainly be a practical decision given the fact that Holmes is being sued for millions of dollars, and if she loses those suits might have to hand over some of her more pricey possessions - like a diamond ring.
Evans wrote in another snap with Holmes that 'the last year has been the best I've had.'
Evans is a far cry from Holmes' ex, former Thernaos COO Ramesh 'Sunny' Balwani.
Holmes and Balwani met in China just after her high school graduation when he was 37 and she was just 18.
Balwani divorced his Japanese artist wife Keiko Fujimoto shortly after he met Holmes, and the two kept their relationship a secret for years.
Evans is a player in the Silicon Valley scene, and recently worked at Luminar as the Director of Special Projects.
He attended prep school in San Diego from an early age, enrolling at Francis W Parker when he was in kindergarten and remaining
