A swimmer died today after 'getting into difficulty' in a reservoir, taking the UK's heatwave death toll to seven.  

Police were called to Chasewater Reservoir in Staffordshire at 6pm after reports two people were in danger. 

The body of a 21-year-old man was pulled from the water but a 13-year-old girl managed to escape.
