Thousands of fans have binge-watched the new series of Stranger Things, finishing it just a few hours after it was released and hailing the season as the best yet.
The latest installment of the hit Netflix show was released around the world today, promising a third series of supernatural monsters and charming 80s-inspired nostalgia.
There are eight episodes in the season, which was released at midnight in San Francisco, 8am UK time.
Thrilled viewers from all over the world took to social media to celebrate the new season and thousands are expected to finish it within 24 hours.
Excited star Millie Bobby Brown, 15, urged fans to watch the show 'right now' as she counted down to its release on Instagram.
Within hours of it being released, fans claimed to have completed watching it and hinted at a tragic finale.

Each episode is around 50 minutes long, with the last one being one hour and 17 minutes.

15.8 million US viewers watched the first episode within the first three days of it being released.
