Farmers who are in desperate need of water for their dying land are trying to trade the very first furry Simba Ooshie in return for water. 

Melisa Katte, 33, and Steven Black, 47, from Victoria, took to Facebook in an attempt to trade the rare collectible.

'I have the first-ever furry Simba Ooshie. Number #001,' Ms Katte wrote.

'I'm wanting to trade it for irrigation water to use on our dying farm due to the mismanagement from our government of the Murray Darling Basin.'
