An MP has taken a tumble while showing off his soccer skills to a group of schoolgirls.
NSW Sport Minister John Sidoti was at Parliament House in Sydney to announce the state government's support of Australia's bid to host the Women's Football World Cup in 2023.
He was joined by Premier Gladys Berejiklian and Minister for Tourism Stuart Ayres for the announcement, wearing Australian football jerseys with each of the politicians' surnames printed on the back.
Mr Sidoti then took an opportunity to show off his footwork in front of schoolgirls and Matildas players - with disastrous results.
