A parking sign with a bizarre time limit has been slammed by drivers as being 'pointless'.

The shopping centre parking regulation at Seaford Central, just south of Adelaide, was shared to Reddit on Sunday because of its odd limit- which allows drivers to park for the entire duration of the allocated time frame.

Drivers are permitted to park in the bay between 9am- 5pm for a maximum of eight hours, Monday to Saturday.
