A state police force may stop handing out speeding fines and warn drivers about speed cameras by flashing their lights amid a bitter pay dispute. 

Police Association Victoria refused to rule out the industrial action after the state's government offered its members a pay rise of only two per cent - half the increase the union had called for.

The association branded the offer 'unacceptable' and has also hit out at pay freeze  the government has put forward for the first six months of the new agreement.
